Coats Manila Bay and LGK (Ruplan Enterprises) conducted a crafts workshop on May 29,2010 at Jollibee Angeles, Pampanga. Participants who knitted the biggest craft work in the shortest time received free items courtesy of the craft store.

The “Win Phones from Red Heart Acrylic Yarns” nationwide promo started in June 1, 2009 and raffled off last September 14, 2009 at Coats Manila Bay in Marikina City. Twelve 1st prize winners from Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao received Nokia 2600 classic cellphones and 120 consolation prize winners received Red Heart t-shirts.

Prinsesa Frames & Crafts & Coats Manila Bay conducted a workshop attended by  teachers, parents and students from different schools last May 14 & 15, 2009 at the Covenant Christian School in Marikina. A wide variety of craft work were introduced and the teachers assured us that they will teach what they have learned and make it as part of their students’ home economics project.

A 2-day workshop sponsored by EMRB Stitches and Frames and Coats Manila Bay was held on May 12 & 13, 2009 in Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan. Sixty participants composed of teachers, students and hobbyists  were taught basic crochet, cross stitch, paper embroidery, yarn weaving, flower loom, plastic canvas, weaving plate bracelet, and square braider.

The Women’s Organization in Pangasinan and the Coatscraft Team hosted a 2-day  needlecraft workshop on May 4th and 5th, 2009 in  Pangasinan. Fifty women from the different barrios attended the activity where they were taught basic  crochet and cross stitching.

The Coatscrafts Team visited 60 ladies at the Women’s Correctional last March 26, 2009 in Mandaluyong City. These women were taught how to make bracelets using a weaving plate and showed them how to hand embroider as well.

The activity emphasized on productivity while in detention as they can weave, embroider and sell their finished products.  This workshop will definitely raise up new hobbyists and enthusiasts, help these women to feel good and proud of themselves.

Seventy participants attended the workshop sponsored by the Sew & Stitch Store and the Coatscrafts Team on March 20, 2009 at the Imus Vocational School in Cavite. The attendees were taught basic cross stitching, plastic canvas knitting and bracelet making with the use of a weaving plate.

VCM Trading & the Coatscrafts Team conducted a workshop entitled “Mr. Sipag at Tiyaga Caravan Libreng Pangkabuhayan Workshop”, a livelihood project of Senator Manny Villar held last March 7, 2009 at the ground floor, Activity Center  of Metropolis Star Mall in Alabang.  Forty people mostly teachers, students and hobbyists participated in the event where we introduced  the Flower Loom & Plastic Canvas making.

A Coatscrafts Workshop held on February 27 & 28, 2009 at Maning’s Lace store in Cubao, Quezon City. 20 ladies were taught basic crochet, knitting and sewing on plastic canvas.
