Anchor Embroidery Thread is a top quality mercerised cotton embroidery thread used for all types of hand embroidery. Manufactured from 100% Giza cotton, Anchor is double mercerised and gassed for a high sheen, and is colourfast to International Standards.
Anchor is a strandable embroidery thread making it extremely flexible for use on all fabric counts. Ideal for Cross Stitch, Back Stitch, Free Style and other forms of counted thread embroidery.
Anchor is available in 472 shades with a colour palette that meets modern and traditional design requirements.
Design support is provided to all enthusiasts by way of semi annual releases of Anchor Clearbooks, quarterly Design Leaflets, Special Occasion patterns and Design of the Month charts – issued every other month. To display Anchor Embroidery Threads to its best advantage, Coats provides fixtures to craft and retail stores.
